TerpSys awarded five year, $123 million contract to provide infrastructure support services to the National Cancer Institute
(Rockville, Maryland) - TerpSys was awarded a five year contract to provide infrastructure support services to the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The total value, if all options and optional tasks are exercised, is nearly $123 million over the life of the contract.
"This is a significant day for the company for obvious reasons. We have worked extremely hard for the past ten plus years to position ourselves to respond to this type of opportunity. I am proud that we were able to respond using 100% of our staff and their collective expertise," stated Ed Woods, company President."From a personal perspective, it is an honor to be able to support those who are working to find the cure for cancer. I am reminded of their efforts frequently and supporting them is not something that I nor our employees take lightly."
For 2007, TerpSys was named a "Great Place to Work" by The Washingtonian, and one of 50 "Best Places to Work" and "Top Corporate Philanthropists" in the greater Washington, DC area by the Washington Business Journal. TerpSys is the only company to be named "Great," "Best," and "Philanthropic".
