Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 175,000 houses, providing shelter for nearly 900,000 people worldwide. Now at work in 100 countries, they are building a house every 26 minutes.
In 2004, TerpSys designated Habitat for Humanity as our "plus one" organization. TerpSys employees teamed with Habitat for Humanity supervisors to build a house for a deserving family in Montgomery County, Maryland. In the years since then, TerpSys has continued to support Habitat for Humanity. Multipe times each year TerpSys sends teams of employees to work with Habitat for Humanity.
