User-Centered Design
How Content Can Maximize Your Web Site or Application's Usage
After we've established the visual design of your web site or application, the final step in our process is to create content that is meaningful to your users.
Content is the most important part of your web site or application. It is what drives users to your web site. Your content must provide information your users are seeking, in order for them to find value in your web site or application.
What's more, the way in which you convey language on your web site or application is critical to whether your users find -- and remain on -- your web site. For that reason, we sculpt your content's tone and voice to convey your organization's message in a manner that resonates with your audience.
Our user-focused content process develops messaging and language that enables users to quickly and intuitively find information for which they are looking.
Our content process consists of two elements: information mapping and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Information mapping - This is a method for communicating information in a structured manner. We use this technique to analyze, organize and present information, so it is easy for your users to access, use and remember.
- SEO - We incorporate SEO into the content we create, to ensure that it reflects the way your users search for information found on your web site.
Content is the fifth and final stage of our TerpSys User-Centered Design Methodology. By employing this methodology, we produce web sites and applications that enable users to achieve their specific goals with ease, efficiency and satisfaction.
